  • Every Business Needs One of These
I work for a company remotely and they have a web site but if anything it is based on the technology of maybe Web 0.5. None of the employees have any way to interact and to compare notes on what in the job works best for them. I have suggested they create a forum but I am told that it is not in the future of the company. The reason a site like MySpace does so well is because they endorse interaction with its members.
  • Some More Ways to Save Money When You Are On a Budget
Why does everybody think it is so necessary to have a domain name ending with .com ? Why not get a dot info, or dot ws, or some other dot something other than dot com. These others are so much more affordable. With the proper SEO and by submitting articles and posting comments you can still get a damn high Page Rank and still rank high for your keyword choices.
  • There is A Lot More Out There Besides MySpace
Why is everbody only wanting to try and market on Myspace? There are so many other Grapevine sites out there like MySpace. Have you read the terms of service on MySpace? Talk about rules like another Nazi Gemany. There is rules forbidding everything in their TOS. I have done some research on social networking sites and visited them. I am so surprised that no one is trying to do any sort of marketing on them. These are all virgin territory.
  • Broward County Florida, Martial Law at its Best
In Florida, my sons friend Andy, missed the first 3 days of school this week because he was very sick. He attends Pompano Beach High. during these same 3 days some kid phoned in a Bomb threat for 2 of these days. Andy is an honors student and works when he is not in school in order to help his grandmother who he lives with.
  • Search Engines on the Grapevine
It used to be whenever you needed to find something on the web you just opened IE to Yahoo and just enter in what you were looking for. Then you would scroll through the millions of matches and hope to find exactly what you wanted or needed. There were some smaller engines besides Yahoo but the majority of searches were either done on Yahoo or maybe AOL depending on who your supplier of the internet was.
  • We Are Almost There but Still Have a long Way to go
A hundred years ago people used to either walk everywhere, ride a bike, tor maybe take a train to go somewhere but a lot of people never travelled outside of their own home town. These days things have drastically changed. Back a hundred years ago computers were something told about in stories, the same with maybe robots. Look at all that has been accomplished during the last 100 years.
  • The Truth About These One Time Offers
You get an email about some product the marketer will sell you for only one dollar then right before you are taken to the page where you can download your product you are taken to one of these One Time offer pages. They tell you that this product on this page will only be offered to you once and that if you don't get it you will lose out forever, Right?
  • One Way Links Without Having To Write Articles
Every marketer out there is telling you that writing articles and submitting them are the best way to get one way links back to your site. I write article all the time and I have this automated software that submits them for me. When doing a search for my complete name on any of the search engines you will see a lot of the articles I have written but what can the people who hate writing articles do to get these same one way links to their sites?
  • Invoking the Desired Response from Customers
One of the most famous headlines ever used was done almost a hundred years ago and it went something like this Do you make these same mistakes in Spelling?. Most of the marketers out there today see nothing wrong with this headline, they say it is one of the best ever used
  • Why Wait
My Mom recently wanted to book a ticket to visit me in Georgia. All the flights she was finding were $500 plus. Then she all of a sudden finds a flight for almost 60% cheaper and rather than booking it right away she thought to herself “maybe I can find it even cheaper?”. After another 30 minutes of searching and finding no better deal she went back to the other site where she saw the flight for so cheap and low and behold that price was no longer available.
  • Creating Your Own Software
Have you ever been working in a particular application and say to yourself “I wish this software could do this or that?”
  • So You Want The Best Blog For Your Site
Several years ago when I first wanted my own blog I first started with Googles Blogger. I figured that since it would be hosted on Google that it would be noticed faster than using another service. After about 6 months I noticed this was not getting noticed like I had wanted so then I hosted it on my own server and started modifying the theme. Being color blind a lot of visitors would tell me how awful the color scheme I had chosen was and there were not any themes I could install and use.
  • Diabetes, The Fact, The Fiction
We grow up hearing so many wives tales that sometimes we have no idea what to believe is true and what is false. Like I had always heard that if you give yourself an injection and there is air in the syringe that you could kill yourself because you would be causing a jump in your heartbeat. Is this Fact or has this been stretched a wee bit beyond to the point of fiction?
  • Taking Advantage of Online Offers Without Giving up Your Credit Card Info
My wife works for the local BlockBuster video in town and they are supposed to get people to sign up for an online account but the problem is that a lot of people are afraid to sign up for these things because of fear of having to put their credit card info on the form. With the world coming online credit card fraud is on the increase. How are we able to take advantage of the savings from these online offers without having to give up our personal credit card information?
  • Most of the Marketers are Doing This These Days
Most of the products I'm seeing these days are products that are aimed at people who desire to make money online. Very rarely do you see a product like how to plant the perfect rose garden or how to remodel your kitchen.
  • Web 2.0, Is it Just Legal SPAM
Web 2.0, everybody is talking about it. If you want a lot of traffic and the opportunity to make money then sites like MySpace, YouTube, Facebooks, Flickr, and everything Web 2.0 is what you need. I just logged into my MySpace account and I was surprised at how many SPAM comments that were there. Is this technology just a way to legalize SPAM? You can turn off the option allowing people to post comments but then nobody will be able to post.
  • Gatting Past the Gatekeeper
These days when making a cold call it is important now more than ever before to make yourself different from the pack.. When you apply for a job that is advertised in the paper your app. will be amongst a thousand others. The same goes when you are calling a business, unless you leave a totally unique message for the person you are trying to talk to you will never hear from them.
  • You Need to Become Known as an Expert First
You know everything there is about a subject and create a great ebook but unless you have thousands of people that know your are an expert in this subject then your sales will be almost non- existent until you get a following.
  • At First it was all About Making Money
When I first got on the internet I had heard how a lot of people were getting rich overnight so this is what I was looking for a way to get rich quick. I read through entirely some of the emails I had in my inbox and thought "hey, these guys are doing it so why not me"
  • You Would Think This Would Just be Common Sense
About 10 months ago my family and myself moved to Brunswick, Georgia. We informed everybody of our new address including our insurance company. You would think that since we informed the insurance company that we were no longer in Florida that we would now reside in Georgia that they would of then said "Hey, we need to change his policy to a Georgia one at this time". Did they do this? Hell no, instead I find out when it is time for me to pick up my prescriptions for the month and Walgreens asked if I'd be paying cash for everything.
  • 40,000 Unique Visitors all From MySpace
Somehow my son has gotten 7,000 friends which I am still trying to figure out. I have maybe 2,000 friends on one of my accounts but I had to pay $50 to become a sponsor on a service where I would get all these friend requests from. There are so many new things on MySpace and I am trying to learn all of this. Jake has this great new ebook out and he covers so much of this.
  • MySpace UnRavelled
Twice as many members as Ebay and it is said that a quarter million new accounts are created each and every day. MySpace was originally created for garage bands as a way to network with other bands but this changed quickly as there are now over 10,000 groups each which would cater to a different Genre.
  • Do You Actually Ever Get Anything From This
I just received another one in my inbox today. The link in the email when clicked takes you to a site with a picture of some guy standing in front of a nice house with a great car and you hear this audio of him saying how much money you will make with his program and why this works and the others don't.
  • Desktop Software Will Soon be a Thing From the Past
With Google and Microsoft making new application that you can access via the internet the only thing you will need to store on your own computer will be pictures, videos, and articles.
  • Do You Want Unique Content, Here's The Answer
The problem starts when you have written a lot of articles over the years and you put these on your site. They have probably been grabbed by other site builders from these article directories. This may be content that you had created entirely on your own but because you submitted them to these directories they are now all over the place
  • How to Actually Get a Free Laptop or Plasma TV
I had tried several of these sites in the past. Every time I would see the message you are almost done just one more offer to go. I'd fill out an offer and then again I'd see this message. Usually after 30 to 45 minutes I'd just give up. I thought this was some sort of gimmick to get you to sign up for different things
  • All of a Sudden his Computer Started Talking
No, it was not a flash site on his browser and it wasn't any type of audio file or movie. He was typing a document and sometimes when he does this hell hit wrong keys which is what he did this time. It turns out that some versions of Windows have a utility
  • A Way to Reduce Our Immigration Problems
Foreigners dream about coming to America to make their fortune. The think that if they fail there are all types of Social Services to help them when they need money or any type of assistance. Come to America and get a brand new credit file. They think we are the land of the helpful when you need it.
  • Never Look A Gift Horse in The Mouth
Good things can happen in all shapes and sizes. I had a friend whom I introduced to a company that was looking for a business partner, my Friend, right away said how much money do they need
  • The Killer of Our Country
Several years ago Gilette relocated their manufacturing to China because the cost of labor over there is so much less. They are also the makers of Duracell. Because of this thousands of US workers lost their source of income. Wal-Mart has been buying factories in china because they are figuring that their cost will go down and yet their profits will rise. When their suppliers get wind of this it will be like when Vidal Sassoon started letting them sell their product, no body else wanted to carry it after that. Outsourcing is going to be the number one killer of the economy in the US
  • Creating A Buzz On A Budget
When starting a new business most people are trying not to overspend. So one of the places they cut back on is in advertising which is actually very important when starting a new venture. We all can't afford a 30 second spot during the super Bowl but there are a lot of things that we can do that won't cost us a lot.
  • Why Businesses Today Fail - Part 1 Customer Service
The only way a business in our current century will ever last is if they put the customer as their number one goal. Each year there are so amby new business popping up and most people wonder why over 95% of them will not make it past their first year. Originally I was just going to write a one page summary of what a business needs in order to survive but there is no way I can sum all of this up in only one page.
