Come on, ladies! You need a gift for your man and don’t have time to find the perfect one. You’d better have a gift soon, and the deadline is making you anxious and even more confused about the best gift. Once you looked around for an open store in the middle of the night before buying the oldest gift in the book- a necktie. This time, you will know what to get for your man! Gifts don’t have to be expensive to be appreciated- especially for more practical types. A gift that will be used over and over is more your man’s speed.Of course, that won’t mean a box full of disposable razors and deodorant.Spend some time considering the person you are buying for and better ideas will come to mind. Does he have any hobbies? If he collects coins, cigars, wine, or music, there are old coins, humidors or cigars, a subscription to a monthly wine club, the latest speakers or headphones, and CD sets. Is he a big sports fan?If your man loves golf, look for the perfect golfing gloves, as well as golf balls and tees, and don’t forget to include a couple of tee times. He might be more interested in a year’s subscription to a sports network, or even in a new racket. Is he more business minded? A business man might like a beautiful leather desk set or briefcase, or a new gadget to go with his other computer gadgets. He has things like that because he likes them. Pay attention to the way he dresses. If he lives in a cold climate, he could probably use a nice warm ski jacket, a thick pair of hiking boots or a pair of Oxfords. In hot weather, khaki shorts, a silk Hawaiian shirt, or a pair of deck shoes are all great gift ideas. Every man in every climate can use a nice, elegant watch. Most men love their cars. Is he one of them? A box of car care items to help him keep his car clean and well-cared for inside and out will appeal to the practical man. Arranging a detailing, window tinting or sound system appointment for him would be just what he needs. There are some men who are simply not practical. But, there are plenty of gifts for them as well. If your man is a romantic, look for gifts that reflect his love of the cultural and artistic. If your man is adventurous, there are plenty of gifts out there with an emphasis on travel, adventurous leisure time, and the outdoors. Is playing the guitar, reading, or listening to music your man’s favorite way to spend the time? A man loving any of these activities might love a new instrument to tackle, a CD set of his favorites, or a beautiful set of leather-bound books to enjoy. For the romantic, a pair of tickets to a concert or play can be just the thing to make his week. The adventure lover might prefer some new fishing equipment or other sports gear, a camera, activity-specific shoes, or a plane ticket to somewhere far away. Some men might prefer a GPS, a day to spend at the beach, antique firearms, or perhaps a treasure hunt that you arrange. For some men, the best gifts don't come in boxes. Men change slowly- it's a universal truth. If your man's love sports, chances are he will always love sports. For men who are highly practical, they will always seek out practical items. For men who are highly romantic, they will always take the time to dream. For men of adventure, the next adventure will always be around the corner. Any gift that has made your man happy in the past will likely make him happy again. When you do find the perfect gift, your man will see the effort you put in, which is the best gift you can give.
